COLLECTION: WHISTLES AW 14

22 February 2014

if only my bank balance would allow for numerous purchases from this collection; another collection i'm a little bit (cough) in love with. you may have seen my previous post on whistles resort 14 but, they really do bring perfection, sophistication and simplicity to our high street(s.) PLUS, how beautiful are the two blonde girls in the first photo?! if only we could all look like them...
"the collection is all about wearable, accessible and durable pieces; knitwear takes centre stage with chunky knits being the main focal point of the daywear side to the collection; check patterns frequently pop up from coats to trousers; outerwear is deliberately oversized, contrasting the warm soft wools with a masculine shape." - cosmopolitan
subtle shades of lilac and grey, contrasted with strong prints and harsh black, but, it works so well. every season the brand build my expectations higher, only to meet those expectations plus a whole lot more. whistles seem faultless with the past few collections they've done, what a delight.

what do you think of this collection?

this weekend my boyfriend has down to london, so i've actually had something to look forward to. i hate to say this, and never thought i'd be saying it, but i actually miss birmingham… i think it's the home comforts and being generally settled in my surroundings that i'm missing. don't get me wrong, i love london, and will happily reside here in the future, but there's only a certain amount of time a girl can handle living out of a suitcase.
