The title gave it away didn't it really?
Queue a fave combo of mine and more than likely, most of the planets - jeans and a t-shirt (both of which I bought in the US.) I'm a sucker for a graphic t-shirt, I don't care what your name is or who you are, I know that no matter what, you will love graphic tees too!
We spent the day venturing around and ended up on 34th St. As you total imagine, there's a huuuuge array of shops - from Zara, Converse, Uniqlo and basically 90% brands you'd think of! The one thing that actually pulled me into the Uniqlo store was the pieces from the J.W. Anderson collab. There weren't that many pieces left so I decided to buy a striped t-shirt, two pairs of socks... and this t-shirt.
As a total sucker for Pop Art, and post contemporary art tbh, I was couldn't help but notice the massive selection of t-shirts surrounding me emblazoned with famous artists pieces or references to the artists themselves. I'm not all clued up on whether it's a collaboration but, I think they've been created by 'SPRZ NY'. (After googling to confirm, this it what it says on the Uniqlo US website - "A global project where art and fashion meet, SPRZ NY features specially-designed items such as T-shirts that are inspired by influential artists including Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Jason Polan.") At a tasty $14.90, I picked up this one, accidentally in size large i admit, but nonetheless, I bloody love it.
Something else I picked up whilst in New York, was this pair of Levi's. Admittedly, not from the Levi's store as they were insanely pricey but, instead from a vintage store in Williamsburg. Before we headed away, I'd actually been frantically googling 'best vintage shops in new york' & 'new york vintage.' L-Train was one I saw appear several times so I made a HUGE list of shops, restaurants and points of interest I wanted to go to. Of course we didn't get to them all but I definitely recommend attempted to do that before you go! Anyway, back to speaking of L-Train vintage. I literally loved this place! it was full to the brim of bargains and by that I mean I got these jeans for $18!! I'll leave the address of the one I went to below but, you can find out all their store locations here.

These photos were taken at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space museum - nerdy I know, but a very cool experience! I was really surprised with myself as to how much I actually enjoyed the time we spent here. I mean, this view also really helped the whole thing...
And major kudos to my mom who you can see in the second photo, proudly wearing her New Era cap.
Still missing you NYC,
