a megggga new blog to me but also an absolutely incredible menswear blog. the blog photography joel has in amazing, hands down, blog goals right there. everything about his style is inspiring, i don't think i ever want to wear colour again after discovering his blog. for some dreamy minimalistic style, joel is the guy you should be looking at.
say hello to a mega boho babe! think florence welch hair mixed with thrifty, vintage style! if you love all of those and more, then leigh's blog is definitely the one for you. i've only recently started to follow fox & feather, but if you don't already, you most definitely should give it a click. from fashion to food to festival-wear, her little space on the internet is nothing but beautiful.
think of a style you'd love to wear, so lets say... 70's retro or modern minimal? well, megan can do it all and she's stupidly amazing at it, i may add (no wonder she's an asos personal stylist!) if you haven't seen megan's blog, give her a click and you'll find a huuuuuge variety of posts. from outfits, to travel diaries or where to grab some tasty food, she's got it all down to a tee.
this a both a new blog i follow and also, a very new blog! beth, my best friend from home recently started a style of life. as a recent photography graduate, her blog photos are an absolute dream! if you're after some ideas on key pieces to splurge on, beth is definitely the one to follow. it features lots of quirky interior pieces and new fashion finds.
how could i share some blog love without mentioning lily?! her hauls are definitely worth a watch, although they may leave your bank balance a little worse off. beauty wise, she's up there with some of the most influential beauty bloggers; so if you need to get some advice on which copper eye shadow is best, lily will most definitely give you the answer.
so there you have it, 5 of my blogging favourites at the moment!
please let me know if there's any blogs you're really liking at the moment, i'd love to take a look so feel free to leave any links below!
don't get me wrong, i'm no beauty guru, but i thought i'd share with you some of my favourite beauty products of the month. i have really dry skin and i also have eczema so my skin can become really sensitive quite quickly. i actually can't put a lot of make up around my eyes and mouth because the skin tends to dry out really quickly and can sometimes actually flake (gross i know). if any of you have any tips for anything you've experienced similar, any tips or product suggestions would be hugely appreciated!
if you've used a kate moss rimmel lipstick before you're probably going to know why this is one of my favourites. one thing i've noticed over and over about these lipsticks is actually the smell. every time i open the lid on any of my lipsticks from this collection, i'm hit with a really lovely smell which just makes me want to use them more and more. this shade (32) is a coral pinky colour. it's hard to see from the images but, it's so beautiful. perfect to add that little somethin' to a casual outfit to give it an extra punch of colour.
a definite purchase for anyone with super pathetic lashes like me! my hair is suuuuper thin so i tend to find that quite a few mascara's don't actually stay in place, but that's where this changed things. the applicator makes my lashes appear longer and thicker in volume so it's a life saver if you have short and fine lashes. eyeko and alexa chung have definitely hit jackpot here, without breaking the bank balance.
everyone needs sun protection, regardless of season, so this year i vowed to make myself wear an spf cream on my face as often as possible. i've chosen the spf 25 but clinique also offer factor 40 city block. i apply it after moisturising my face and just let it soak in before applying bb cream. a little really does go a long way, so for £18, i'd say this is a must in anybody make up bag!
i try to avoid wearing foundation on a daily basis as i like to give my skin a little bit of a break. instead, i'll occasionally wear this bb cream instead. i'll use this over the top of my clinique city block and it just smooths out the skin to give a dewy finish to the skin. i treat it like a tinted moisturiser so rub a small amount onto my face with my fingers. it's super quick and takes half the time it would to apply foundation.
